Egoli Africa
In het bijzijn van de president van Oeganda werd gisteren in Kamuli aan ruim 190 organisaties die zich inzetten voor empowerment van jeugd materialen overhandigd. Egoli Africa was één van deze organisaties en aanwezig tijdens dit speciale event. Heel bijzonder, want het is de eerste keer dat Egoli Africa ondersteuning en erkenning krijgt vanuit de overheid in Oeganda zelf. Dit event is toch wel een hoogtepunt en toegesproken worden door de president maakt het speciaal. Voor Egoli Africa vocational center mochten we een machine in ontvangst nemen waarmee schoenen gemaakt kunnen worden. Heel handig voor de training sandalen maken.
In the presence of the President of Uganda, materials were handed over to more than 190 organizations that dedicate their work to youth empowerment in Kamuli yesterday. Egoli Africa was one of these organizations and was present during this special event. Very special, because it is the first time that Egoli Africa receives support and recognition from the government in Uganda itself. This event is quite a highlight and being addressed by the president makes it special. For Egoli Africa vocational center we received a machine which can be used to make shoes. This comes in handy for the sandal making training.
